My wife and I booked The Straits Chinese Nonya Restaurant as venue for our wedding, mainly because the location was ideal and the food was excellent. Their service was also impeccable, as we came to find out after hiring them. The restaurant management and staff took effort to cater to our needs in planning for the wedding event. And despite the Covid-19 heightened alert situation that came out of the blue, the restaurant managed to work with us to adapt the dine-in menu to a takeaway bento for the guests, and to ensure that the seating arrangements accorded with the official rules, while at the same time minimising inconveniences to the guests. The management and staff of this restaurant are polite, well-organised and highly service-oriented. I highly recommend The Straits Chinese Nonya Restaurant as the venue of choice of you intend to hold an event or just to simply enjoy a meal at a beautiful location.
